Culturally based programs and practices

TYP grantees have creatively incorporated many culturally-based programs and practices into the services they offer to Tribal youth. A partial list is below. Click on the practice name or grantee name below to learn more information. Several items are cross-listed at CrimeSolutions.gov and the OJJDP Model Programs Guide, which are great resources for learning more about what works in criminal justice, juvenile justice, and crime victim services. If you are aware of a culturally based or evidence-based program or practice that has been implemented or adapted by a TYP grantee, please email Emily Veysey at eveysey@edc.org.
